EXOTIC TREAT HATTINDAN BU KEZ GR.1 GALİBİ ÇIKTI

Bu yıl arka arkaya elde ettiği sonuçlar ile Rare Treat kısrak ailesi gelişimini sürdürüyor. Bu kısrağın kızı olan Exotic Treat'ın hattından gelen MANDAEAN Fransa'da dün G1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud koşusunu kazandı. Godolphin'in sahibi olduğu bu safkan 2000 metrede 142.850€ ikramiye kazandı.

Manduro yavrusu olması ayrıca dikkate değer çünkü bu yeni aygırın hangi kısrak ailelerine uyum sağlayacağı önemli. Diğer yandan ülkemizde Exotic Treat'ın hattından bir kısrak da bulunuyor. Aşağıdaki tabloda bu kısrağı (Buğdaycı Ekürisi'nde Jubilee Treat isimli kısrak) ve anne hattının son dönemdeki başarılı üretimlerini görüyorsunuz.

Prominent throughout, Mandaean headed Mirandola early

in the home straight and soon asserted to retain his

unbeaten record, despite wandering about in front and

showing clear signs of his inexperience on only his second

start. The bay hails from the first crop of Darley’s Manduro,

whose son Bonfire was third in the Gr.1 Criterium

International a fortnight ago. An athletic, strong son of

Monsun, Manduro was the top-rated horse in the world in

2007 following victories in the Gr.1 Prix Jacques Le Marois,

Gr.1 Prince Of Wales’s Stakes and Gr.1 Prix d’Ispahan.

Mandaean is the sixth foal of Summertime Legacy,

who has previously produced May’s Gr.1 Prix Saint-Alary

heroine Wavering to Refuse To Bend, the Listed Winter

Derby Trial-third Mister Green to Green Desert and the

useful staying handicapper Atlantic Tiger to Tiger Hill.

Successful in the Gr.3 Prix des Reservoirs as a juvenile

and third in the Gr.1 Prix Saint-Alary the following spring,

Summertime Legacy is by Darshaan out of the winning El

Gran Senor filly Zawaahy who, being by a son of

Northern Dancer out of Exotic Treat, is a three partssister

to Nijinsky’s European Champion Three-Year-Old

Golden Fleece, the unbeaten winner of the Gr.1 Derby. By

Secretariat, Exotic Treat’s Stakes-winning daughter

Office Wife produced the Gr.3 La Coupe de Saint-Cloud

and Gr.3 Prix de Flore victrix Dance Treat to Northern

Dancer’s son, Sadler’s Wells’s three parts-brother

Nureyev, Dance Treat in turn producing the Gr.3 Dee

Stakes victor South Easter to Sadler’s Wells’ son Galileo.

Indeed, Sadler’s Wells sired the Gr.1 Ascot Gold Cup-third

Admiral’s Well from another daughter of Exotic Treat. By

Vaguely Noble, Exotic Treat is out of the Ladies Handicap

heroine Rare Treat (Stymie), whose daughter What A

Treat (Tudor Minstrel) was the US Champion Three-Year-

Old Filly of 1965 before producing the 1982 British and

Irish Champion Sire Be My Guest (Northern Dancer),

subsequently Manduro’s damsire.

Summertime Legacy has a yearling full-brother to

Mandaean and foaled a colt by Halling on 1st May.
